Anez, ranked No. 15 nationally in singles, took home a single play honor, while he and partner Ondrej Nice, the No. 7 ranked doubles duo, took home All-American recognition in doubles play.
Anez adds the honor on top of his Great American Conference Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year honor as well while also taking home first team all-GAC honors. The junior from San Diego, Venezuela, finished the year with tallied 14 singles wins and added 14 doubles wins as well.
Nice, a junior from Rapotin, Czech Republic, was also a first team All-GAC selection and along with Anez, has been a force in doubles play with 14 wins, while he has also tacked on 11 wins in singles play.
The duo are the first All-American honorees since Mark Albright and Terry Wood took home honors in 1976.
