OSU, Tigers to meet in AdvoCare opener

STILLWATER– The bracket for the 2018 AdvoCare Invitational has been revealed, and the opening round features a showdown between The Oklahoma State basketball team and Memphis on Nov. 22 at the HP Fieldhouse in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

This will be the second time the Cowboys and Tigers have faced each other at the Advocare Invitational after meeting in the tournament finals in 2013. Memphis won that meeting, 73-68, but OSU leads the overall series, 5-3, including wins in four of the last five matchups.

The Thanksgiving Day game between OSU and Memphis will tipoff at either 2:30 or 3 p.m. on ESPN or ESPN2. The Cowboys will face either the defending national champion, Villanova, or Canisius in the second round at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 23.

The other side of the bracket features Charleston, which will visit Gallagher-Iba Arena on Nov. 18, LSU, UAB and Florida State.
