OPSU softball camp planned

GOODWELL—The Panhandle State University Lady Aggies’ softball team is set to host their annual summer softball camp this August.

The camp is scheduled to take place over the weekend of August 18-19 and is open to children and young adults ages 8-18. Instructed by head softball coach Meghan Mulcahy and the OPSU softball team, the clinic aims to impart professional and experienced knowledge of the sport to all participants as well as to teach and strengthen skills in offense, defense, pitching and catching.

Last spring, the softball team made OPSU athletic history as they qualified for the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament for the first time in 10 years, and the coaching staff and team are excited to continue their rising achievements and share their game winning mentalities and talents with the future athletes of tomorrow.

More information regarding details, cost and registration forms can be found on the Aggie Athletics website at opsuaggies.com (PDF), or feel free to email Mulcahy at Meghan.Mulcahy@opsu.edu.
