NSU’s Williams named to NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Montre’ Williams will close out his Northeastern State men’s basketball career as a member of the NABC Honors Court.

Williams is a repeat honoree after avenging 9.8 points a game in 108 appearances in a RiverHawks’ uniform.  On Feb. 10, this last season, Williams joined NSU’s 1,000-point club, and concluded his playing career with 1,056 points.

In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. They must academically be a junior or senior and a varsity player, and must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2017-18 academic year. Student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, II, or NAIA Division I or II are honored for their academic achievements on the Honors Court.
