SPRINGFIELD, Mo.–With eight games to play and still in the running for the Texas League first-half title, the Tulsa Drillers needed a win against the Springfield Cardinals to keep pace in the standings. OKC Dodgers top Grizzlies in 10 innings

FRESNO, Calif.–Alex Verdugo‘s RBI in the top of the 10th inning broke a tie and Joe Broussard sealed the win by striking out the side in the bottom of the frame for a 5-4 Oklahoma City Dodgers win in 10 innings against the Fresno Grizzlies Monday night at Chukchansi Park. SPRINGFIELD, Mo.–The Tulsa Drillers started off the series against the Springfield Cardinals with a good offensive outing on Saturday night. Tulsa starter Andrew Sopko went six strong innings in his first start of the season, only giving up one run on five hits while striking out five to lead the Drillers to victory. Travelers hold off Drillers

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.–Despite some late inning offense, the Tulsa Drillers fell to the Arkansas Travelers 8-6 on Friday night. Tulsa starting pitcher Justin DeFratus faced his former team in the Travs and had only allowed four earned runs in his previous four starts for the Drillers, but the Travs bats got the best of him.
