Shippy named softball scholar-athlete

IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 announced its Spring Scholar-Athlete of the Year award winners Thursday, and Oklahoma State’s Vanessa Shippy was honored as the softball recipient for the second-consecutive year. Shippy is the first Big 12 softball player to receive the distinction more than once since the award was established during the 2012-13 academic year. Cowboys agree to 3-game series with Charleston
