Oklahoma fishing report for 6-6-18

Oklahoma has a new state record spotted gar. While bowfishing Lake Arbuckle, Dustin Statton reeled in an 11 pound, 4 ounce spotted gar. This new record is part of the Unrestricted Division where the method of take includes bow and arrow, gig, spear, trotline, jugline and bankline.

Arcadia: June 1. Elevation 82 and clearing. Channel and blue catfish good on cut bait and shrimp around points, riprap and rocks. White bass fair on in-line spinnerbaits and jigs along the dam and points. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around brush structure and docks. Drillers lose series opener at Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.–The Tulsa Drillers opened a nine-game road trip Tuesday night in North Little Rock with a meeting against the Arkansas Travelers, and the closely contested game needed an extra inning to determine a winner.

After the Drillers failed to score in the top of the tenth, the Travelers needed just two batters in the bottom half of the inning to produce a win. Joe DeCarlo‘s RBI single brought home the winning run in a 4-3 victory for the Travs. Continue reading “Drillers lose series opener at Arkansas”
